Black Forest Coatings provides a superior mid temperature black oxide, a dark black magnetite finish that will not rub, chip, peel or gall.

Unlike other high temperature treatments, ours is more EPA and environmentally friendly. Additionally, we have no issues with salt bleed that might be found with other black oxide treatments and due to the lower temperature, will not weaken any existing weld.

This is a non-dimensional coating, does not interfere with part function, it is ideal for high strength steels and iron, both machined, and non-machined components, tooling, gears, and more..
